![]() So I'm definitely going to restart with a different class and then let her join as a Priestess. ![]() She seems like a cool character though and I wish it would have made sense to add her as my Priest/healer instead. However, in the second area you travel to, you get a Priest companion who can also be turned into a Monk as an alternative (awesome thinking by Obsidian to give us alternative choices!) but I've never been a fan of the Monk class. So I figured I'd roll a Priest because I was thinking that my character could replace Durance from the first game (whom I never liked and I did not know that Durance isn't even a companion in Deadfire. In my game i am currently a Paladin(kind wayfarer)+Barbarian(Berserker) and that has been alot of fun so far.įWIW, without spoiling too much since all of this happens very early in the game here is my tale of why I wish I had NOT rolled a Priest. This way you don't have 2 people that have the same class. So if you for example are playing a Fighter then you can choose so that your companion will be a rogue insead. What's good about this game is that you can usually when you first get a companion choose 1 of 2 classes or multiclass them. It depends alot on what you enjoy playing? Do you like being a tank or do you want to play DPS? And if so do you like meele-dps or ranged? Some of you might have already got far in the game, so any suggestion? On the other hand, if a fighter NPC is boring, I will gladly take his role so that I don't need to deal with this dull character along the journey. Say a rogue NPC is interesting and worthy to be in the party, I will not want to be his/her double. Which NPC are interesting and which are not ? (no spoiler please). ![]() Originally posted by Oscalcis:I know I know, many would say all are good start.īut my concern is interaction with party companion. ![]()
